High precision extrusions are widely used today in multiple applications. Whether you need an extremely large spliced O-ring, or have a critical sealing surface in a gasket, FKM-Industries makes the highest quality FKM extrusions available today. FKM-Industries has engineered and compounded our extrusions to some of the highest in the industry. FKM-Industries hold tolerances up to +/- .0025”
Tolerance: E1 (High Precision) E2 (Precision) which is our standard unless otherwise specified.
The vast majority of extrusions are O-Ring cord, and Tubing; however, for very specific projects FKM-Industries Inc. will custom design a die to just about any profile, and will extrude one of our custom compounds to meet your specification. It is important that one of our engineers work with you on all non standard extrusions.
FKM-Industries, Inc. identifies our extrusion products code by adding an “E” after the polymer identifier. For example, the most popular O-ring cord meets the AMS 3216 which is our F-1275-E (E for extrusion grade compound). The “E” grade is compounded with 70% polymer to ensure easy splicing.

Z-1 = 75 ±5 durometer
Z-2 = 150% minimum elongation
